What will it cost?
A real range, built from hundreds of our quotes.
Why we build in cedar
Western Red Cedar resists rot and insects on its own. On the coast, with this much rain, that matters.
Left alone it weathers to a soft silver. Stained, it keeps its warm colour for years. If a board ever gets damaged you replace one board, not a panel. That is why it is the first thing we reach for.
We also build pressure-treated, composite, vinyl and aluminum, and we will tell you which one suits your yard. Compare the materials, with lifespans and upkeep.

What people say
“Exceptional workmanship and professional team. I recently hired AX Projects for a 6-day front yard renovation, including fence building and landscaping, and I couldn't be more impressed with the result. The quality of work was outstanding from start to finish.”
“Job well done. Like the customer service from Arjun & his team. Ben was exemplary, working until late in the evening just to get things done. Strongly recommend.”
Built board by board
A free site visit, a written quote with drawings in 48 hours, and then this. Scroll to watch a fence go up.
- Every post goes in concrete. Each hole is dug and filled with concrete, so the fence stays where we put it.
- Rails follow your ground. Top and bottom rails go on between the posts, set to your yard, so it sits right on a slope.
- The cedar never touches the soil. A pressure-treated kick board runs along the base and takes the wet, so the cedar stays dry.
- Western Red Cedar, cut on site. Each board is cut to fit and fastened one at a time. No factory panels.
- Lattice and cap to finish. A band of cedar lattice keeps the privacy and lets the light through. The cap seals the top.
- Then we walk it with you. A fence like this in Champlain Heights, stained and finished. We clean up, walk it with you, and the 2-year warranty starts.
